Fancy getting creative for four days in the summer holidays? For FREE?
We have funding to provide 2 sets of four-day long free summer schools for 10 and 11 year olds who live in Aylesbury. Participants will work through the Bronze Arts Award syllabus throughout the four days and the children will achieve a Level 1 Award qualification! (equivalent to a GCSE, grade D to G)
During the week the children will be discovering Islamic Art and creating their own artistic response to the exhibition.
The children will also curate and install a miniature exhibition at Bucks County Museum to showcase their artistic responses. On the final afternoon, parents, guardians and other family members will be invited to celebrate the ‘opening’ of the exhibition and see the work on display at the Museum!
Dates avaliable include:
Monday 1 to Thursday 4 August
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 August
Days are 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The children just need to bring lunch with them and our Learning Manager will take care of the rest!
