Enjoy an atmospheric evening of beautiful Easter music by candlelight with the Loddon Piano Quartet.
Faure’s sumptuous first piano quartet will be paired with the F minor Trio Sonata by JS Bach for an evocative and moving conclusion to the Easter Saturday bank holiday. Joining the Loddon’s in tonight’s concert will be the Dutch Soprano Jacobine van Laar who features in performances of sacred music by JS Bach and Arvo Part and Easter themed songs by Vaughan Williams and Ivor Gurney.
The Loddon Piano Quartet are an ensemble which draws on the talents of four musicians who perform in great concert halls throughout the world and play regularly with many of the country’s top professional orchestras.
