Stunning images by leading photographers
PHOTOGRAPHY! showcases the best of contemporary photography created by members of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and opens on 16 January.
Discover inspirational imagery, covering a wide range of subjects including portraits, landscapes, architecture, advertising and fine art created by leading photographers in their field. It is also an opportunity to discover more about the professional side of photography and the work of BIPP. The exhibition is free and runs until 5 March 2016.
Photography Competition

To accompany the exhibition the County Museum and BIPP are running a photography competition which is open to all amateur photographers. Categories for 16 years and under, and over 16s.

Photography Advice – Tips on Developing Your Skills
Saturday 30 January, 11am – 3pm FREE
A fantastic opportunity for photographers of all ages to meet experts from BIPP. Bring along your own photos and get tips on improving your photography. Students and amateurs can bring their portfolios for expert advice. Appointments by timed ticket issued on a first come basis on the day. Subject to availability.

A rare opportunity to pick up photography tips from BIPP members during a relaxed walk around Aylesbury and the Museum. £10 per person. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Places limited. Book in advance on 01296 331441.
Journey to Chernobyl
Talk by award winning photographer Bryn Griffiths FBIPP
Tuesday 1 March, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Bryn Griffiths, winner of the Product section of the Hasselblad Masters Awards in 2014. travelled to Chernobyl to create fine art images of post-nuclear deserted buildings for the Hasselblad Masters book. Come and hear his story. Tickets £7.50, Students £5, including private view of PHOTOGRAPHY! exhibition and free refreshments from 6.30pm. Talk starts at 7pm. Book in advance on 01296 331441.

Each lecture is delivered by a leading academic in their field with free refreshments during a short interval to give participants time to enjoy the evening and meet like-minded people.

Aylesbury Ducklings – Fabulous fun for under 5s
Tuesdays during school term time, 11am – 12 noon
Come along each week with your toddler and take part in a special session especially for young visitors which consists of stories, rhymes, sensory play and a gallery hunt. Themes coming up:
